A New Member Connects with the MU Confucius Institute:
City Garden School
October 23, 2013
Columbia, MO–A signing ceremony was held on October 23, 2013 at City Garden School, located in the Calvary Episcopal Church, downtown Columbia. The University of Missouri (MU) Vice Provost Handy Williamson, Dr. Wen Ouyang and the Head of City Garden School Nicole Knapp-Weber, as well as some of the MU Confucius Institute teachers and students’ parents attended the ceremony. Chinese Ethnic and Classic Dance Gala

Columbia, MO-It was a night full of art and intrigue as eighteen performance dancers from the prestigious Shanghai Normal University Dance Troupe (traveled thousands of miles) presented their culture through music and dance at Columbia’s Missouri Theatre. Please click here to read more.

The mission of MU's Office of the Vice Provost for International Programs (VPIP) is to develop an internationalized, quality infused and inclusive academic environment. VPIP aims to provide support and services to ensure global orientations, representation and vibrant participation by and at MU. We seek to infuse the university with dynamic intercultural and international perspectives in academics, research, economic development and outreach. We strive to foster a faculty, staff, and student body that are prepared to engage the challenges of the rapidly globalizing 21st century.
